January Birchbox Review

My January Birchbox arrived yesterday and it was super exciting! I love this months box, it has a great mixture of products from makeup, skincare and hair care. If you haven’t tried out Birchbox yet, then give it a go! It’s an amazing way to discover new products and brands that could become your favorite! This months box was inspired by happiness as January is known as a ‘hard month’ because Christmas is over and its the start of a new year, which could be good and bad for some people. But this box uses yellows and golds to bring out happiness for this month. Also, they did a special feature of a full sized Ciate eye liner, and two other products in the box.

In total I received 6 products this month, which is amazing for the price you pay. This first product is the Nuxe Shower oil, I am so exited to try this out because this is the first Nuxe product that I own and I have heard great things about this products.

This is the Kebelo Clarifying Shampoo, which says it is great for giving your hair a deep cleanse if it is looking dull. This product is going to last quite a while as it says to use it only one or twice a month!

The next product is this Vasanti ‘Brighten Up!’ face rejuvenator, which says it lifts the complexion, leaving bright and smooth skin. I defiantly need this right now as my skin is breaking out a little, so I’ll see if this product helps. It is retailed in the Birchbox Shop at £26 pounds which is expensive, so I am hoping for great things!

This product is a hand cream (which smells DIVINE) by Merci Handy, this is the first of the full sized products. I like the packaging because I normally think that hand cream packaging is a bit boring, but this one is different and funky!

(excuse my ugly hand) This is the Lord & Berry Conceal-It Crayon, in ‘Beige’ and it the second full size product. I have heard good things about this brand and their lip products, but just from swatching this on my hand I can tell the formula is very soft and blends really nicely.

Lastly! It’s the last full sized product which I was most excited about, the Ciate Fierce Flicks eye liner which is liquid. I needed a new liquid liner so badly too, so great timing! I am super exited to use this one, as I am with all the products.
