Tarte -Rainforest of The Sea Eye Shadow Palette Review

Hello!! How are you all? Today’s post is going to be a review on the Rainforest of the Sea™ limited-edition eyeshadow palette, this palette retails at £25 pounds in the UK. So grab a cuppa and start reading!….

Firstly, I think that the packaging for this palette is so pretty and beautiful, it has a big compact mirror too which is great for traveling. I also like how the palette shuts, that probably sounds weird but it shuts nicely and doesn’t come open on its own, which is good because you don’t have to worry about it coming open whilst you are taking it somewhere.

There are eight different shades in this palette, some are shimmers and some are mattes. But they are all really creamy and last a long time on the eyes if used with a good eye shadow primer, I love the Urban Decay eye shadow Primer Potion in the shade ‘Minor Sin’ which is the shimmery one. I think that this palette is perfect for the autumn and winter time because the colors are quite dark and shimmery, which is what I love about it.

The shades are all very blendable too, my favorite shade has probably got to be ‘Cove’ or ‘Starfish’ because ‘Cove’ is a light brown shimmer that you can use for a subtle look. Then ‘Starfish’ is a darker brown color that can be used to make eye looks more dramatic and stand out. I love this palette because the shades are great for this time of year, they are blendable and apply great to the eyes.

Thank you for reading! Lots of love,

Chloe xox
